Promoting physical activity and nutrition within a primary care environment
This report provides an overview of prevention efforts in the primary care setting for diabetes, cardiovascular disease and other diseases through encouraging communities to increase physical activity, improve nutrition and reduce obesity. A report prepared for the Ministry of Health, Northland DHB, Waitemata DHB, Auckland DHB, Counties Manukau DHB, and MAPO under the auspices of the Northern Region Public Health Steering Group.
