Temporary Suspension on Funding Agreements from 1 December 2011
After considering all feedback, CMDHB has made a decision to temporarily suspend the issue of funding agreements for new community pharmacies for a minimum of three months and up to a maximum of six months, during which time a policy will developed that will define the requirements for access to funding agreements in the future. The effective start date of the new policy is 1 December 2011.

CMDHB was seeking feedback on its proposal to temporarily suspend the issuing of new funding agreements while a policy is developed for granting funding agreements that aligns with the strategic direction of our DHB.

Northern Region DHB Discussion Document - Improved Patient Outcomes Through Provision of Accessible Community Pharmacist Services as Part of a Multidisciplinary Primary Care Team
The purpose of the discussion document is to propose a future vision and way forward for community pharmacist services allowing a greater contribution to health outcomes. The finalised document will help in prioritisation of investment opportunities and development of systems to allow pharmacists to play a more significant role in primary care services.
