Purpose: Growing and developing talent
Managerial Excellence
(MEX) is a customised management development programme designed
in consultation with CMDHB and delivered by the New Zealand
Institute of Management (NZIM). MEX
comprises 6 modules with each representing a nominal 200 hours
of learning. The programme involves course participants in 14
face to-face learning contact days, 6 assessments, 1 project, 1
presentation and a reflective journal. The 6 modules credit towards the 8 modules required to be awarded a Diploma in Management (Advanced) Level 6. The programme focuses on generic skills for professional managers and serves a link between management theory and practical application. The modules include: The modules include: · Communication (Preparation for learning and DiSC profiling, 2 days) · Quality Improvement (2 days) · Applied and Project Management (2 days) · Change Management (2 days) · Leadership (2 days) · Communication (1 day) · Presentation Skills (2 days) · Presentation Day (1 day)
