Intersectoral Initiatives

CMDHB will develop healthy communities by working intersectorally (i.e. with local government and other agencies) including:

Working collaboratively with the Ministry of Health to reduce inequalities for the population of Counties Manukau.

Improving housing in Counties Manukau by working in partnership with Housing NZ.

Working in partnership with Ministry of Social Development (Work & Income) to implement the PATHS programme.

Working in partnership with education providers to improve clinical support to students in alternative education and the Teen Parent Units.

Working with local government to ensure alignment between the DHB's strategic direction and the Council's Long Term Community Plans.
