Core Community Services
Community Mental Health Teams
Community mental health services (clinical outpatient, & home visits) provide care for patients in a community setting. Five multi-disciplinary teams are spread across two locations, The Cottage and Awhinitia.
CATT: Crisis Assessment Treatment Team
The CATT provides mobile crisis services integrated with the Community Mental Health Teams.
Maaori Mental Health
Maaori Mental Health consists of two services that have distinct functions and roles within both the Community and Inpatient Settings:
- Te Taumata Kaumatua
Assist CMDHB Mental Health Services to be culturally safe for Tangata Whaiora, their Whanau and Mental Health Staff.
Assist in the development and enhancement of culturally responsive services for maaori.
Support appropriate access for cultural interventions where or when required.
- Te Huarahi Ora (maaori Clinical Team)
Te Huarahi Ora is a specialist clinical Intensive community mental health team based at 24 Station Road, Otahuhu.
This team works alongside Tangata Whaiora of maaori decent who have complex clinical issues and high support needs.
Faleola Services
Faleola Services provides Pacific Island clinical community mental health services.
